Because of the situation created with COVID-19, Chairman Latifi has called on citizens not to go without reason in the next two days, when St George's holiday is usually celebrated.
He has announced that he has ordered the Municipal Inspectorate to place strips in the traditionally celebrated sites on May 5th and 6th in the Low Pataqan and Dejne.
Under the ordinance is strictly prohibited the gathering of two or more people, as well, such activities at this time are prohibited with the clear recommendation of the IKSHPK, with the aim of maintaining health and preventing the spread of coronary.
During these days, the Police Station in Rahovec in co-operation with the Municipal Inspectorate will be constantly on the ground for controlling and monitoring the situation, and against all those who do not respect these measures and restrictions, all necessary actions will be taken, including mandated penalties and other punitive measures, provided with laws in Kosovo.
Chairman Latifi, through a Facebook post, has appealed for caution, as there is still a danger of spreading COVIDD-19 to people's gathering places.
