Raca for the 2020 “Europian Prize”: It belongs to ICHPK

Lul Raka, professor of microbiology and Infection Control at the University of Pristina, has been voted European of 2020 -- a price that is shared annually with the European Union's European Day case in Kosovo. In this case, Raka in a Facebook post said that the price originally belongs to the home [...]
In this case, Raka in a Facebook post has said the award is originally due to his home -- the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo, along with 6 regional institutes, broadcast IndexOnline.
But I can't keep this price myself... It is small compared with the dedication and passion of 125 clinic workers for infectious diseases, including intensive care professionals. An army of people who turned their trust in the white cloak and showed that Hippocrates still breathe on these trains. People who faced the invisible virus, when everyone else fled from him”, he said.

Z UNITED YRA EVROPIAN IN COSOVA
WRITER IN EVROPAL DELIEF- “EV 2020 ROPIAN”!
Thank you, Europe. Happy 70th birthday!
I thank all the people for their support in time of pandemic.
This award initially belongs to my home ʹ the Kosovo National Institute of Public Health, along with 6 regional institutes, where for nearly four months they buzz people without stopping a day. Laboran microbiologists, who are expecting Kosovo to give a positive or negative score. People who care more about not having enough tests than bread at work. The Operational Centre, which advises the citizen 24 hours a day, personnel from all departments that track any contact on the four sides of Kosovo and guide the solution to the challenges of dealing with this pandemic. The award is also spent at the University of Pristina, family, society and Kacanik, where this award travels for the third time in the last five years.
But I can't afford that price myself. Because my job is like a drop of water in the ocean, compared to colleagues at IKSHPK, other nominated for this year, all health workers and citizens of Kosovo. It is small compared with the dedication and passion of 125 clinic workers for infectious diseases, including intensive care professionals. An army of people who turned their trust in the white cloak and showed that Hippocrates still breathe on these trains. People who confronted the invisible virus, when everyone else left it. Mothers and fathers, who for weeks did not see them or feel the warmth of the hugs of their children and parents.
Volunteering in difficult times, as the universal value of mankind, has often been enjoyed. I also quickly share this award with volunteers of all fields who mastered the country in the most difficult days working at the Student Center, the call center, or the patient's bed. I also share that price with the nominated by the communities with whom politics have often divided us, but it brought us together COVID-19.
European Year's is the health worker and assistance staff of every health institution in the country, from the village ambulance to the man who bore the weightiest burden on this pandemic- Minister of Health.
The European of the Year is the family head, who with empty pockets but full hearts protected his family by listening to the advice to stay at home; it is also the mother who always kept the stronghold like Rosafa. It is difficult to stay within four walls of your home with children who want bread on the table, older ones, and often chronically ill and disabled people who seek care. But even in this difficult time, what overcomes any challenge is the sanctity of family love, which many found at this time of pandemic. She's 100 times more powerful than any virus.
European of the Year is also within the blue and green uniform of the Kosovo Police and KSF, which were the protection of the people at this time of no time. It's every Mayor who spent many sleepless nights defending his citizen. It's the baker's teacher, pensioner and inspector, priest and imam, artist and artist, writer, worker and unemployed, psychologist and diaspora -- is every citizen of Kosovo.
Today I am also the citizen of Kosovo who was affected by this virus and happened at the crossroads of life. The moment he received the positive result, the celluloid strip of life, with 1 million thoughts on the centrifuge of his head, was brought to his head. Finally, he succeeded.
Today, I am also the echo of the voice from the underworld of 28 of our countrymen, who were taken away by the virus. I am also the voice of a pregnant mother and her baby whose voice was never heard. I'm also a 26-year-old who cut off life in the bloom of youth. May the soil of Kosovo be easy!
We've been Europeans for centuries and we wish that as soon as we remove the virus and travel free to the old continent.
Lul Raka,
Kacanik, 9.5.2020
