Koeln's Regional Court in Germany made the decision, Bild has announced.
The 41-year-old has been found guilty of hiding about one million euros from tax authorities in the period of 2008 to 2010, as well as during 2013.
In claims of tax evasion during 2011 and 2012, Sturm was acquitted. The act is not final.

Tourism was initially charged with tax evasion of around 5.8m euros between 2008 and 2015.
The charges of 2014 and 2015 were dropped during the process.
Moreover, Sturm was also convicted of violations of the antidoping law, resulting in deliberate assault on himself.
He was doping for the world's title of Russian Fuodor Jewishov in February 2016.
Sturm was arrested in April 2019 and has been in prison for about nine months.
In December, he left prison pending his final decision, while paying 300 thousand euros. According to Bild he must return to prison.
Sturm comes from Bosnia, and his real name is Adnan Cataq.
