At least eight positive cases with Coronavirus have resulted after the latest tests by the football elite championship teams in Portugal, which are expected to return to the field at the end of May.
The defending Benfia champions have announced that midfielder David Tavarez has been infected by the virus, but it's in quarantine and no symtoma.

Previously, Vittoria Guimaraes had confirmed three cases, while one had been formalised following tests on Moreeren's team. Also, three players and two technical staff athletes were confirmed positive by the Famalicao last week.
All are in quarantine, while according to the protocol, Primera Division clubs in Portugal will undergo other tampon tests before the start of the championship, expected last week as the government announced earlier in the country.
