Photographer Brigela Demaj, apparently provocative after realising the picture with two lesbians kissing in Shkodra, for Bajram gets the message that changes the day. Brigela challenged prejudice to bring about love, even in the dimension that we know less, even many of us do not accept - that between women. Life is banal. Religion does. Love is never, says in an interview for the photographer.

Today, however, Demaj has received a very beautiful message in Inbox, changing her day. Here's what they write:

“I just read your interview in the newspaper. I live in Greece and often try to get the news from my country. Of course as much as possible because what they serve isn't always good enough. In this context, I'm now removing my hat in respect to you because a way of talking to culture, simplicity, but even intelligence, it seems like it's been a hundred years to listen. Bravo! Also for your work. A big lock. Amman O sister (because Brigela don't have the confidence to turn to you), stay where you are and don't go for America, Germany or England. The kind of desert where you live and I used to live, there'll always be a lot of need for 20s that create people like you! Finally, the imaginary “My friend is blessed and you don't need candy... With more respect. ”

This made my day. )

For those of you who haven't read the interview, we're bringing it full:

Brigela, why did you choose to take such a picture by kissing another girl in front of a poster that writes “

Actually, I didn't take a picture like that where I kissed a girl in front of a poster. I took a picture, kissing two girls in front of a poster that uron “Grified Bajram” and it's more than fitting for the logic that what I've been wanting to do is just wish for the festival of Bajrami.

If we can ask you, are you lesbian or is photography just sensationalization for the LGBT community through that provocation?

If you want to call it that, the question would be appropriate only if you like me and you're thinking of having something with me. However, since we Albanians understand best between us, they are satisfy the curiosity by saying I'm not lesbian. I've done catechism and went to church regularly for a few years and it would be very inappropriate if I were.

Have your family seen that picture and if so, what did they tell you?

It's been about four years since my 18th anniversary, and my family members are aware of my public standings or not on certain issues.

Why didn't you choose to take a picture in another country without including a poster that wishes a certain community of religion?

Because the holiday atmosphere would not be felt elsewhere. It would be a common picture of two people kissing on the street.

A girl like you, how hard is it to live in Shkodra? Do you judge your city?

It's not hard for a girl like me to live in any country in fact, as long as I accept the relativity of diversity as present and necessary truths in any society and as long as my freedom and rights as a human being are not violated.

Fear they can label you as lesbian without really knowing what your orientation is?

Why should I be afraid of someone thinking I'm lesbian? It would be the same if someone thought that I am a minor, Belgian, or anything else that points to my identity (taking the welfare that gender and sexual orientation indicate about human identity). Add to this the fact that one's thinking is a matter that belongs to him, and surely he enjoys complete freedom to think and manifest his opinion.

Which religious community do you belong to?

Nobody.

Are you a believer? Do you believe in God, or are you an intern in religion?

I don't have imaginary friends and I don't even have weird rituals to gain their fancy bag of candy if you want to say that. I believe in man and his life together with wisdom.

There were a lot of comments about the picture, someone asked why to show support to LGBT you have to come to two girls who kissed on your lips?

I'm not supporting the LGBT community, at least I'm not supporting it according to the image society has of what “support”. Logically, there is no sense to state that it supports a certain group of people because they have certain preferences in the bedroom. If it were for me, there would be no cause. The issue rises to the level of cause when these people, because of preferences in the bedroom, become the object of discrimination and violence of certain forms. I support the man of his rights. As to the question, the ideal answer would be: “not necessarily, but why not?”.

To follow up with comments, another said that the individual's life is important unless it harms anyone, lives, and let others live, are you of that opinion?

It took a while to figure it out. Another comment expressed that one day and religions would disappear, do you think?

I don't believe it, but I hope it does. It would promote creativity in people. I mean, we're gonna have to find other sources of inspiration for burning on wood, beheading, rape, pedophile, hate and war.

Is there any interest in knowing if it's just an original post or photo, so of two lesbian girls?

The girls in the picture belong to the LGBT community, but I don't know how much the truth was kissing between them.

“The world is destroying with these perverts” was another comment, what is the answer?

What perverts? What Religion Promotes Yeah. It's falling apart. Since it takes people of the same gender, can we say that the same can happen to people in a family or between humans and animals, there have been times that happened... I'm not aware of the phenomena in question, so I can't give a literal answer. But those Migen lines described the love forbidden between two cousins, I have to say, were unique.

Is your photograph of disrespect to one community more than harmony, asked another commentator?

Believe me, it's not that difficult to cause a negative impact on the Muslim community to think you're insulting them. Islam is very sensitive to different opinions, especially criticism. So if I wanted to show disrespect, I would choose a simpler and banal form, even though I don't take responsibility for the impact my photos cause and I rarely explain it. I have to say that what I've been wanting to deliver is a message of harmony, coexistence, acceptance, positiveness and peace. Is not peace the fundamental principle of Islam?

“is not elite harassment, but elite citizenship”, comments concluded...

Life is banal. Religion does. Love is never.
