Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti's statements, that the opposition has failed to criticise him during his governing mandate, has also been responded to by PDK deputy Blerta Deliu-Codra.
In a response to the Express, she has said her party has criticised Government when decisions have affected public and national interests.
“S first, incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti, must understand that the Government has been fired without being consolidated in government. In a way we all know and agree that the 100-day executive is required to consolidate in government, and we have respected this rate, so to speak, to allow the new government to breathe”, Deliu-Codra said.
PDK chief member said her party has criticised Government for the budget, but also for preventing the spread of COVID-19.
But, as Kurti and all of our opinions know, our constructiveity has only been applied to general governing policies and we have been powerful in response when government decisions have affected public and national interests, as you remember the budget, then with the government's inactivity in undertaking the necessary steps for preventing the first coronary infections and especially the threat of our relations with the United States”, Deliu Kodra said.
Deliu-Codra has also cited the coalition's collapse between the Vetevendosje Movement and the Democratic League of Kosovo, where it says its collapse created a dangerous situation in the country.
“The PDK has not contributed in any form to its resolution, nor to the triggering of the crisis, nor to the political initiative afterwards to concreteise the motion with the collection of signatures by MPs. But, with the deepening of the political crisis, and especially to isolate the exhumation of reports between the governing partners, a dangerous institutional situation was created to tolerate”, it stated.
Deliu-Codra said Kurti has deepened the political climate within the Government, at the time of the Oandemia, when institutional stability should be in its opinion.
“Time today is evidence that we have voted the motion without any personal political interest, but simply because that created situation required an emergency breakthrough. The remaining government in Kurti, instead of showing signs of its recovery, I repeat, especially at this time of the need for governmental and institutional stability, he (courty) was only deepening and hostile to the political climate within the government, causing serious consequences in effective management of the pandemic”, she has declared.
Kosovo Government Task Chief, night before in “The DPT at Fidan” in T7 said the Vetevendosje Movement makes governance better even the opposition.
He said the opposition has not criticised him during the time he ruled.
According to Kurti, the opposition has only cried out against him, but has not criticised him.
“Dense, fraud, lie, it's kind of a scream against us, without real criticism, I don't see criticism. The opposition Vetevendosje movement has taken radical shares on the topic, radical action has been preceded by a elaborate criticism. Critics against our government do not see, I am seeing attacks and accusations from those who are not trying to understand that the future in Kosovo has a date, that is June 6th”, Kurti said.
Kourt's statements today have also reacted to AAKA Deputy Chairman Muharrem Nitaj.
Nitaj has said Kurti has ruled so badly that there was no need for criticism of the opposition.
How an opposition could criticise a prime minister who is overthrown for less than 50 days. We have decided not to criticize him, even in the first 100 days, but he wants him to rule so badly that there was no need for criticism of the opposition, Nitaj said.
Nitaj is saying Kurt's quick dismissal did not allow time for the opposition to criticize him.
The dismissed prime minister is right that the opposition has not sufficiently criticised him. But he didn't even give the opposition time to criticize him, because the horse did not take the job well, it fell from power”, Nitaj declared.
Albin Kurti was elected prime minister on February 3rd of this year, following the coalition he had linked to Isa Mustaf's LDK.
But his rulership did not last more than 50 days.
The distrustful motion was launched against Kurti, which was voted 82 votes for the Kosovo Assembly on 25 March.
The clashes in the ruling coalition began when Prime Minister Kurti refused to remove the tax and not impose reciprocity on Serbia as the Americans requested. As Kurti dismissed Agim Veliun from the minister's position, the end of the government came, thus starting the no-confidence motion.
