U.S. television presentation Oprah Winfrey will donate $12m to several American cities that are unable to provide adequate services in the fight against the pandemic of the Coronavirus.
Winfrey said she will donate money from her Corleone fund in Chicago, Baltimore, Nashville, Tennessee, Milwaukee, Kosciusko, Mississippi.
She said she believes the virus will not leave soon, the Kosovas broadcasts.
Even if the virus is removed, people who cannot work for months will still need support,” said the television host.
Five million dollars will be donated to a nursing home in Chicago, two million for an organization that distributes food to 10,000 people in Nashville, and the rest for nongovernmental organisations that help people who don't get enough services in some cities.
