Official: FIFA condemns Trepca89 to 43 thousand euros

The former player from Skenderbeu played 89th in 2016 and 2017.

But, three years later, a sentence has come from FIFA, which has been initiated by Cyprus' Aris Limassol club.

According to the Cypriots, the Nigerian had contracts with the club when it joined Skenderbeu, who immediately borrowed it to 89. From the Mitrovica club, Bonafife joined the Partizan of Tirana.

Aris had filed suit against Partizan at FIFA, but the Albanian club won the trial, as the player had not come from Aris.

In this case, FIFA pointed his finger at 89.

Chairman 8 of this club, Abednego Zeka, has told the Ole Journal that it is not about 400 thousand euros, but punishment worth 10 times less.

The sentence has come to the address of the club, and it's about 43 thousand francs, and it's not 400 grand since it's been released to the media”, Zeka tells Ole newspaper.

“We have hired the lawyer for the case, which is already dealing with the case at FIFA. The footballer in question has come to us from a country like Cyprus that does not recognise Kosovo's independence, and the football player is registered in the Federation under the TMS system, so everything is done according to the rules. It means footballer came to us free of contract”, Zeka adds.

Bonafi is now part of the low leagues of Portuguese football.
