The FIBA 2023 World Basketball Championship will again present 32 national teams from around the world, with the expanded format approved for the FIBA World Basketball Cup 2019 in China, FIBA's biggest event to date.
The qualifying process for FIBA 2023 World Basketball Cup will include six windows for a 15-month period in all four regions of Africa, America, Asia / Ocean and Europe.
The route to the 2023 World Cup in Indonesia, Japan and the Philippines began in February 2020, with the start of European pre-qualifications, which will qualify eight teams for European qualifications.
Qualifications for the 2023 World Cup will be held from November 2021 to February 2023, with 80 national teams competing to secure a World Cup seat.
The first qualified window will be November 22nd-30th.
Kosovo has launched its European pre-qualify campaign, where in the first two matches it has defeated Iceland and Luxembourg until in late November it will be a guest of Slovakia and Iceland.
The last two matches, the Dardans, held in February of next year at home in front of Slovakia and Luxembourg. The first two nationals qualify in the second circle.
