The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspore (MPJD) and the Ministry of Health ( MS) through a joint communiqué have been declared about the case of Agon Musliu, who committed suicide at the Convik Centre.
MPJ resert that Musliu had health records, so he was not allowed home to carry out his isolation.
Here's the communique:
After the tragic event, the MS has requested written reports from officials, professionals and responsible teams that are under the management of this ministry.
Also, after informing of the case, MPJD has started inter-institution contacts to inform its details. At the same time, the MPJD has requested detailed official reports from the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Germany and from the MPJD Operational Centre, which is responsible for co-ordinating citizens' return to the Republic of Kosovo.
After reviewing the reports, we have found that in the case of the MPJD Operational Centre and its officials, besides marking the list as “prob. - What? We have no medical records. We need to clarify that such lists are regularly sent by diplomatic missions and they are not valid to determine someone's position or in quarantine because they are prepared by diplomatic mission chiefs, not by health organs.
Also, the Emergency Operations Centre, under the Ministry of Health, has not been reported and sent to health documents that would alert the deceased to any of the three regular reporting and medical examination links, as has happened to other cases that have been released.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora and the Health Ministry call for investigative organs to work on clarifying the case so that the process can be completed as soon as possible and at the same time express their readiness to co-operate with the respective organs.
Only through close and transparent co-operation with the investigative bodies and only by keeping the order away from politics can the truth be understood and justice established in the country.
