The recent successes of Kosovo national handball (males) teams have led the Kosovo Handball Federation to hold a good position in the ranking of the International Handball Federation (IHF).
The European Handball Federation (EHF) on Wednesday has announced the latest IHF rankingr to be taken on the case of the player transfer.
The IHF has divided the men's national teams into three groups, while the results have been obtained for the basis in global events in recent years.
Remember, Kosovo played in Spain's Junior World last summer. Meanwhile, the National A in January ranked second in the group in the World's qualifications, leaving Georgia and Italy behind. These and other results have led Kosovo to be in the second group, in that of developed nationals.
In the group of top nationals are only the 16 best nationals in the world: France, Denmark, Spain, Croatia, Norway, Germany, Sweden, Hungary, Egypt, Slovenia, Tunisia, Iceland, Russia, Brazil, Portugal, Northern Macedonia.
Kosovo is in the second group of best national teams, developed ones, which are part of 24 nationals. So Kosovo is in the group that shares positions 17 to 40.
Kosovo and other nationals of the developed group leave behind 169 national teams of developing national groups.
It is this new success of the Kosovo Handball Federation and our national teams that are rising to an increasingly high level. But the goal is to advance further. Recent results provide hope for this.
