Former Kosovo National Ballet Director Ahmet Brahimaj has passed away.
Brahimaj was the key man of the re-founding of the Kosovo Ballet School, respectively.
During his leadership, the BKK has co-operated with many distinguished choreographers from around the world, resulting in successive successes.
On November 26th 2010, the order of the president of Kosovo, with the November 28th case of the National Flag Day, is honoured with the grand prize “Artist Merit” for the contribution made to the development of Ballet Art in the Republic of Kosovo.
