Over 1,000, 900 people arrested for failing to implement measures against COVID-19

The PK's Information Office, in a response to “Justice Trust”, has indicated that between March 13th and April 1st 104 people in the entire territory of the Republic of Kosovo have been arrested for failing to comply with the decisions of the Government of Kosovo, aimed at combating and preventing the spread of the Devi-19 virus.
While, according to reports of 24 hours published by the KP, between April 1st and May 13th, 1,799 persons have been arrested, reports “Justice bet”.
According to the latter, the largest number of those arrested has been in the Prizren region, where 341 cases have resulted in the arrest of 558 persons involved.
After the Prizren region, the largest number of those arrested have been in the Pristina region, where 245 cases of 544 were reported, while 91 cases of 144 involved were reported in the Gjilan region.
In addition, 77 cases of 160 arrested persons have been reported in the Gjakova region, in the Peja 77 cases of 129 people involved, meanwhile, in Ferizaj's region, 38 cases of 76 persons involved have been reported.
According to PC data, during these first two months of pandemic, in the South and North Mitrovica region, 90 cases involving 155 persons have been presented.
Otherwise, during these two months, 33 persons involved have been reported to such cases in the Border Department.
