RB Leipzig star does not intend to join Bayern Munich or any other German club, Bild suggests.
The 24-year-old, instead, has decided to look towards a transfer to Liverpool, where he wants to work with coach Jurgen Klopp.
The Reds have already been connected to Werner, but it's unclear whether they will be able to take such action this summer after all this coronary crisis.
Werner to RB Leipzig was transferred in 2016 from Stutgart, and in 118 presentations it scored 72 goals.
