A Turkish military cargo plane has been launched from Ankara to the United States, one of the most affected countries by the new choreography (COVID-19), with medical assistance against pandemic.
In the direction of Turkey's president's direction, Recep Tayip Erdoğan, Turkey sent medical aid such as surgical, face protection, N95 masks, defence convoys and many other preventative medical means, Anadolu writes.
The military jet cargo A400M was loaded with medical aid equipment prepared by the Ministry of Defence and Health. The plane headed towards the US from the Etimesgu military airport in Ankara.
On the aid boxes, there are also inscriptions in Turkish and English with words from mystique poet and scholar Mevlana, also known as Rumi: “After the despair there is much hope. Behind the darkness is a lot of sun”.
Turkey, with the A400M aircraft of the Turkish Armed Forces, also previously sent aid to Italy, Spain, Northern Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Britain and Somalia.
