Thaci recalls Maznik's battle, says their heroism in war motivated thousands of young fighters

The country's president, Hashim Thaci, has recalled Maznik's battle, where those killed remained Shkelzen Haradinaj, Hasim Halilaj and Luan and Fatmir Nimanaj.

Through a status on the social network Facebook, Thaci has said that their heroism in fighting for Kosovo's liberation motivated thousands of young fighters to join the ranks of freedom fighters around Kosovo

“Today remember the heroes of Maznik's battle, Shkelzen Haradinaj, Hasim Haliljan and Fatmir Nimanaj Lion. Their heroism in fighting for Kosovo's liberation motivated thousands of young fighters to join the ranks of freedom fighters throughout Kosovo. Eternal is the memory of all the martyrs and heroes of the Kosovo Liberation Army”, Thaci wrote.
