Thaci condemns damage to Roma cemetery in Rahovec

President Hashim Thaci has condemned the damage to the Roma community's cemetery, Ashkali and Egyptian in the Rahovec municipality, calling it a low and unacceptable act in our multiethnic society.

The head of state has asked Kosovo Police to investigate the case and the responsible bring them to justice.

“Detailing the Roma community's cemetery, Ashkali and Egyptian in the municipality of Rahovec is a low and unacceptable act in our multiethnic society. As president of the country, I strongly condemn this low action and ask the Kosovo Police to investigate the case and responsible bring it to justice. The communities are the property of the Republic of Kosovo. Interethnic harmony is an example for the whole region and we don't let anyone ruin it! ”, Thaci wrote on Facebook.
