It's really my super hero”. That's what the world-renowned Albanian singer Rita Ora has been saying about the English media for her medical mother.
Dr. Vera Ora in an exclusive online interview for Top Channel, tells of her work as a doctor in the service of patients with Avid19, how her two daughters, Rita and Elena feel during these days about the fear of infection.
Vera Ora shows her daughter's newest passion, Albanian music diva Rita Ora.
Top Channel: Dr. Vera, you work at the National Health Service in England.
Dr. Summer Time: Yes, I work as a psychiatrist in NHS, which is public health in Great Britain for many years. Now at the time of the pandemic, I continue to work at the same job as patients who are ill with Covid19. I have already accepted this decision as the newest duty of my profession to help the emergency team at the hospital where I work.
Top Channel: For you as a doctor and your colleagues, what have been the biggest challenge these days?
Dr. Summer Time: The challenges are different. The changes are drastic in the way we are acting right now. Coping with patients is another aspect. There is also difficulty with the lack of PEPs that are protective tools, as work is important to preventing infection from patients to health personnel. I personally have clothes that I'm dedicated to using outside these days after work.
Top Channel: Besides being a doctor you're also a wife and mother of two girls. Being in contact with patients daily, does your sense of fear of infection accompany you?
Dr. Summer Time: In my career there's been no confrontation in a situation like this we're having today. I personally feel terrible that I could potentially be a danger to my relatives or people around me. I try to keep my maximum focus on proper prevention.
Top Channel: What about Rita and Elena?
Dr. Summer Time: My whole family is worried about me, girls, especially. But we are conscious, and I especially try to follow them and the well - known preventive rules. That's why I wanted the girls to be isolated for the moment so I could remove their concern, of course. I miss you, but life and health supervision have a whole different meaning for everyone now.
Top Channel: What advice have you given Rita and Elena these days knowing that they are both girls, active and numerous professional implants?
Dr. Summer Time: Basically stick to strict instructions not to forget for a moment that they must enforce the rules to prevent infection. Even though these days artists can't perform in public those many activities are kept through social networks, which, fortunately for me as a mother can afford me enough and that doesn't bother me as much as it could be different.
Top Channel: Rita has invaded the hearts of millions of people in the world with her music, and, of course, countless fans in Albania and Kosovo. I'm sure they're curious to know how Rita is spending these days?
Dr. Summer Time: It follows the work activity in her profession, however, with stops in effect. He also discovered the new talent, wants to paint. I congratulate him because it's a good way of relaxing and I would have recommended it to all your viewers as well.
Top Channel: Doctor Vera and at the end of this interview, what are your advice to all those who have chosen to be informed through Top Channel?
Dr. Summer Time: Stay home. All those in isolation have already the opportunity to realize perhaps some desire or some activity or hobby that they have not been able to do before. I commend Albania and Kosovo for taking some preventative measures of movement much earlier.
