Pristina marks Earth Day, Ahmeti: We'll plant a million flowers this year

For marking this day the Pristina municipality has developed an event by planting flowers and seedlings.

Pristina Mayor Shpend Ahmeti spoke of the importance of marking the 50th anniversary of this date.

We're not going to forget this which is an extremely important part for the future as well as fighting pandemics in the future. If there's luck in the disaster in this pandemic, we've noticed what the public and common” means.

He announced that a million flowers and five thousand tree seedlings will be planted this year.

Ahmeti also thanked Horticulture for the ongoing work they are doing in times of pandemic.
