The country's president, Hashim Thaci, has remembered today close to 100 Kline men and young people missing from the Serbian military and police on April 4th 1999 in Kralan in Gjakova.
President Thaci has said that a total of 21 years of this April pain is unprecedented for the citizens of Kline.
“They, as well as many other families around Kosovo, have to learn the truth about the fate of their most loved ones”, wrote Thaci, expressing great disappointment over the lack of international pressure on Belgrade authorities, as it dawns the fate of the undiscovered.
This is the full status of President Thaci:
Today it is 21 years when many locals had been separated from the Serbian army and police in the village of Kralan in Gjakova. About 100 men and young men had stopped, but even today, nothing is known about the fate of most of them. A total of 21 years of this April pain is unprecedented for the citizens of Kline. They, like many other families around Kosovo, must learn the truth about the fate of their loved ones. Even on this day, it expresses great disappointment over the lack of international pressure on Belgrade authorities, as it dawns the fate of the found. Serbian criminals must be punished for their crimes, and justice must prevail, so that as a region we do not remain hostage to the past. This is the only way on which we can build a better future, in peace, with prosperity, for all our peoples! HTH.
