The second league club in Italy, Pescara, has opened a competition in recent weeks that gives young fans the chance to design the club's lantern.

The race was meant to alleviate frustration in isolation, while the state is in quarantine, broadcast Periscope.

Hundreds of young people created their designs and have now been chosen the winner.

Luigi D'Agostino, a six-year-old, triumphed in the race with an extraordinary design.

His fanella is inspired by the symbol of the club until a dolphin hits her head.

The race was originally intended to be a game for children, but popularity turned it into a business project.
