Mustafa: Should not go to elections, make government effort mandated by Kosovo Assembly

LDK leader Isa Mustafa at the meeting called by the country's president, Hashim Thaci, said they appreciate that at this point it should not go to the polls. “We need to make efforts to establish a government which has mandated by the Kosovo Assembly and which can govern the country in a normal manner. “We need to make efforts to establish a government which has mandated by the Kosovo Assembly and which can govern the country in a normal manner. We estimate that the government in office, which continues the work, does not respond to all the requirements being laid before it, because the Parliament has voiced distrust of this government by 82 votes with no-confidence motions, the Parliament needs a government that can work with full capacity and full mandate of Parliament, and which ensure that the government communicates regularly with Parliament on legal grounds and on constitutional basis”, Mustafa said.
According to Mustafa, what Kosovo is now facing with the pandemic of the coronary virus does not enable normal elections, fair elections, and it is a factor that will necessarily be made to try to produce a government that secures most in the Assembly.
And let's do this as soon as possible, both the LDK and in this respect we are willing to take the initiative to secure most of the second party if this responsibility is offered to us and I think that we should do it together, but I also fully appreciate the positioning and declaring of any political subject on this matter”, Mustafa said.
