Democratic League of Kosovo deputy leader Lutfi Haziri in an interview for “Daily Face” in Telegrafi.com has spoken on the issue of the possible formation of a new government under LDK leadership.
Haziri has said that after the coalition's collapse with LVV, the LDK is ready to co-operate with all other parties in parliament, but not with the PDK.
“LDK and PDK have no co-operation from the moment The PDK collaborated on the collapse of Isa Mustaf's government. Co-operation with them is on level 0, they've ruined the bridges of cooperation. PDK will not be invited to any government that the LDK takes over, or if they receive an LDK mandate it does not go to government PDK, this is crystal clear. I believe that politically the LDK is the only party that has no problem co-operating with everyone except with PDK”, Haziri said.
Asked whether the LDK has the numbers and whether the formation of the government depends on the Serbian List votes, since the PDK has declared it will not support forming the government on the part of the LDK, Haziri added that the Serb List will have constitutional role in participating the government, just as in the LDK-LVV coalition.
Haziri further added that the new government under the LDK leadership is expected to back 67 to 70 Kosovo Parliament deputies.
The new parliamentary majority is expected to have 67 to 70 deputies in support. The Serbian list in the political report will have the same role as it did in the LDK-LVV” coalition, Haziri said.
LDK deputy chairman, at the same time chairman of Gjilan, Lutfi Haziri further in this interview, stressed that no concrete names or parties were discussed in LDK, even though he stressed that Isa Mustafa is undisputed as a candidate for prime minister.
“According to official duty, political profile and confidence Isa Mustafa is undisputed, but remains in his authority with appreciation, whether he will propose a third name that receives the consensual trust of LDK”, Haziri said.
He stressed that the LDK and Isa Mustafa do not work and participate in any kind of process, which is contrary to the Constitution.
