For nine years football fans were blessed with two of the best players of all time, while wearing Barcelona Real Madrid fans, respectively, broadcast Periscope.
But now we are approaching two years from the last time we saw Mess and Ronaldon sharing the same field, with Portuguese joining Juventos in Seville A, in 2018.
Now, we recall an interesting moment from Barcelona's 3-2 victory against Barcelona in Supercupa, Spain, in 2011.
Ronaldo was back to help the team protect himself from an angle of the blaugrans to find himself in the penalty area when Gerard Pique with the heel followed the ball to Messi.
And until Sami Khedira seemed to back off from an intervention, Ronaldo was given duties to follow his rival as he approached Iker Casillas.
The result, as you can see below, was Ronaldo trying desperately to stop Mess, to the point of falling on his knees.
