Republika Srpska incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti, accompanied by incumbent Finance and Transfers Minister Besnik Bislimi, visited the KSF's Defence and General Staff in Pristina.
He was hosted by incumbent Defence Minister Anton Kuni, accompanied by Deputy Defence Minister Enver Dugolli, KSF Commander Lieutenant General Beftman Rama, U.d. Defence Ministry Secretary-General Faruk Geci and Chief of Staff General KSF Brigadier General Jeton Dresaj.
Voicing full consensus on the government's current focus after the emergency situation by COVID-19, he stressed the need for government support in meeting these state interest dimension targets to reach the stage of our full formation of forces for the fulfillment of its constitutional and legal mission for the protection of territory and participation in international peacekeeping operations. Minister Kuni also stressed the extraordinary and irreplaceable role of the US and other partners in the arrivals and projects for the future, enabling KSF to be a professional, contemporary and interactive force with NATO member and partner countries' standards.
On the other hand, KSF Commander announced Prime Minister Kurti with concrete data on the operational objectives of KSF, key programmes and projects planned for the mid- and medium-term period that deteminate the stage of development and full operation of military capabilities and capacities planned with the support of our main ally, the US and other partners under the Comprehensive Transition Plan. In order to meet these operational objectives, Gen Rama sought by Prime Minister Kurti and Minister Bislimi government financial support and relief from administrative procedure barriers to timely prosecution of separate defence projects.
