The new KEK union has reacted to the situation created in the country following the spread of pandemic.
According to this union, KEK workers and management staff are being fully engaged in electricity production.
In a public response, the new KEK Union has thanked the leading management for implementing their bonus request from 300 euros for all workers who are active at this time.
In this response, this union has also invited the political spectrum to be unique and not to create conflicting situations that they think can affect productivity and efficiency production.
The following is the full reaction:
Honored KEK employees, we commend you for the work done at this time of pandemic and maximum engagement from the worker, staff leader to KEK management staff for producing electricity as vital service in the country.
At the same time, I thank the management for implementing our demand for a 300-euro bonus for all employees who are active at work at this time.
At all times, we've been critical of anything that's negative.
At the time of the government, Mustafa has also had numerous protests about non-proliferation, expropriation of the 52 hectare area (Hade,Shipul) and the KEK impasse.
At the time of the government, Haradinaj has had reactions and protests about the expropriations of the lands that were made by KEK's financial means, considering that KEK needs capital investments.
We've had pay raise protests, protests against Counter Globall for re-ilitating Kosovo A, against the wage law, which is incompatible with the labour and unconstitutional law.
We have also rejected the political parties' claims to compete for managership, as was the case with the recent competition for management director in which one of the former ministers had competed, which is received and disqualified.
We are grateful to the minister. Rosette Hajdari who offers us the work we've been doing in this time of sleep.
But we will be a critical voice and in defense of the rights of employees and companies to any bad actions that every government takes, including the actions of government in office.
The new Kek union at this moment does not support any other decision besides the maximum commitment to electricity production from worker to managing staff.
We invite the whole political spectrum to be unique in this time of pandemic and not to create conflicting situations that could affect productivity and efficiency in production.
Respectfully SR KEK's exclusive leadership.
