The Vetevendosje movement continues to insist on new elections in Kosovo.
After the collapse of the Kurti Government, the LDK, the former ruling partner of the Vetevendosje Movement, has taken the initiative to form government with Initiatives, AAK and communities.
President Hashim Thaci has sent a third letter to Albin Kurti to submit the mandate's name, respecting the Constitution under which the name proposal belongs to the winning party.
But incumbent Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Haki Abazi has accused the country's leader and LDK of misusing the COVID-19 pandemic, failing to go to new elections.
“Misusing the situation with COVID-19, not stealing DEMOCRACIA or legitimacy. What Thaci wants and Mustafa is not constitutional and equal in the decisions of violent measures Milosevic once imposed by driving out institucie one who has the source in the vote and civic will. Democracy has no place for centrifuge. What are they afraid of?
