Growth in the number of infected in the North: KFOR Commander Has Appeal to Rakicin Bahtiri

The two Mitrovica municipalities have held a media conference to inform citizens about the situation that is ruling in this municipality.

KFOR Commander Michele Ries, who ordered citizens to be cautious and to follow public institutions' instructions, spoke at this conference.

I want to thank the honored heads who are with us here. They both know that the situation with the coronary is very serious. It's very serious in the Balkans, it's very serious in Europe. I am sure that each citizen in Mitrovica will follow the guidelines of Kosovo's public institutions and both mayors. I want to thank the media and all the press because that helps”.

South Mitrovica Chairman Agim Bahtiri said citizens should respect the rules given by competent institutions.

“Kisa after a prayer for all citizens of Mitrovica, regardless of which nationality. We're facing a virus that doesn't know nationality. I urge you to stay in isolated homes. Please keep your distance from me as well. And keep hygiene in your homes. In North Mitrovica two people are infected, one is dead. ”

Meanwhile, North Mitrovica leader Goran Rakic stressed that citizens of northern municipalities should be cautious as this disease is affecting nearly every age. He announced that in the northern part of Kosovo, 17 are infected and over 200 isolated citizens.
