“U n EFA accepted a request to suspend the sport by 2021 from WHO”, the Italian daily La Repubblica wrote on Tuesday.
The report, which quotes the Brazilian magazine Veja, claims to be told W The EFA took measures to prevent a second wave of Covid-19 at an executive committee meeting that lasted more than two hours last Thursday.
Football suspension for that period of time would cause disturbance for this season, as well as 2020/21 season.
Anyway, UEFA has denied claims that it was wanted to stop sports by next year from O BSH, according to The Independent.
This does not stand, because it is not correct. WHO has never recommended that football not be played until 2021”, the Independent official has told UEFA.
Actually, UEFA reportedly is continuing to make plans on how the 2019/20 season can be completed without endangering anyone's health.
