Finance Minister Besnik Bislimi has said that journalists and media are also involved in the package through which the government will help those affected by the economic crisis caused by Coronavirus.
Journalists' associations have reacted by urging the government that in the aid package, the cause of the coronary crisis be involved with journalists, as media companies are also facing financial problems.
They say the government has not included journalists in the 170m-euro package.
But, Finance Minister Besnik Bislimi, in an interview for Euronews Albania, has said that journalists are also involved, and has accused political parties that are disinforming it.
According to him, journalists are officials and media are businesses, and like all employees and all businesses affected by the crisis will be assisted by this government fund.
