In Ferizaj's municipality so far, there are 18 positive cases with coronarys. The source of the infection for this municipality is Bondsteel's military camp. Mayor Agim Aliu told Gazeta Express that the infected are in two groups. One group is the family of the deceased working at Camp Bondsteel, and the other group is the group of late colleagues.
Ferizaj has been quarantined as a result of an increase in the number of Coronavirus. A person has changed his life as a result of Covid-19 from this municipality.
Of 18 cases, 3 are from the town of Ferizaj and 15 others from the villages of this municipality.
Ferizaj Mayor Agim Aliu said six villages are already isolated, settlements from which the affected are.
My “Ferizaji is now quarantined, mostly from where the infected originated are six villages in isolation. 18 cases are total, 15 of the villages and 3 in the city are positive”, Aliu has said.
He has indicated that the source of the coronary in this municipality is from Camp Bondsteel.
The first case from our community that passed away worked at Bondsteel. Now we have two groups of infected people. The first group is the family of the deceased while the second group are colleagues of the deceased who worked with them”, chairman Aliu told Gazette Express on Sunday.
Aliu said they have talked with KFOR and the same has been done by incumbent Minister Arben Vitita for measures to be taken for civilian military camp staff.
He said Camp Bondsteel is working with restrictions but that they have not seen fit to stop work for all employees there.
“We have talked to KFOR, have started to take measures, now civil staff is working with restrictions but have not seen fit to stop work as a whole. The military camp works under their jurisdiction and we as a municipality do not have powers there”, Ali has declared.
He said the municipality's Emergency Staff with mobile teams are offering citizens affected by the coronavirus food aid regularly.

On the other hand, Mayor Aliu added that he has received promises from the incumbent Health Minister, who will have medicine supplies and protection tools for the municipality.
“Properties have not been sufficient. I have submitted to the Ministry of Health today with the needs presented by Ferizaj's Regional Hospital for supplies, and he has promised that there will be supplies for Ferizaj”, Aliu said.
So far there are eight Kosovo municipalities in quarantine, including the capital. Northern Mitrovica, Zvecani, Suhareka, Ferizaj, Kline, Vitina, Maliseva, Pristina
Pristina's mayor has called on citizens who are abroad for only until five o'clock today to return.
Currently, Kosovo is facing the coronary, from which 7 people have died so far, 287 have been infected, as well as 58 others recovered.
