Three journalists trying to tell the truth about the Wuhan epidemic have not been seen for two months. Chen Qiushi, Fang Bin and Lee Zehua had distributed dramatic photos of Wuhan's situation under quarantine, the former body of the new coronary.
But their location is already a mystery for two months, Western media reports. Their YouTube accounts, which are prohibited in China but can be controlled by VPN coders, are already calm.
The businessman from Wuhan, Fang, disappeared after publishing the video, where a pile of bodies were seen in a van outside a hospital. His short video shows doctors in full protective clothing who try to care for patients while others wait with sighing. He then asks one of the doctors: “These people have just died? When did this happen? Yesterday?
The images became viral when they were published by Chinese journalist Jennifer Zeng. Fang says the police came to his house on February 1st. He was arrested and released on February 9th, but his account became silent from this date, after a release with the words all revolting to power returns to the people.
While activist Chen, 34, is a live activist turned video-gaetar. He came to Wuhan before the launch of the coronary blockade, but had been active in the anti-government protests in Hong Kong so he was recognised by the authorities. In his first YouTube video from Wuhan, he says: “with my camera I'm going to document what's happening”. He next claims that a woman on video is standing next to her deceased relative in a wheelchair as she tries to contact her family on the phone. In his last post, which the BBC network says was made by a friend, calls for his return: “Where's Chen Qiushi now? Will someone talk to him? Chen Qiushi has not been contacted for 68 days after reporting on the Coropervirus in Wuhan. Please save him! ! )
While journalist Li Zehua, 25, has previously worked for the Chinese state broadcaster CTV. Li appears to have been targeted by authorities after a visit he made to the notorious Vorology laboratory in Wwan and has not been seen since 26 February.
Early in the month, US Congressman Jim Banks called on China to investigate the disappearance of three journalists, suggesting that the Chinese government has signed them or perhaps something worse happened to them.
