The United States of America has now overcome Italy with the highest death toll from the world's choreography. The latest data, compiled by Johns Hopkins University, shows that more than 20,000 people in the United States are now dead.
The hot spot comes shortly after the US became the first country to register more than 2 thousand deaths from viruses in a single day, reports the BBC.
The United States is now the hot spot in the world as far as Coronavirus is concerned, with 529 thousand 887 cases of over 1.7 million worldwide infection.
They are followed by Spain with over 163 thousand and 27 and Italy with about 152 thousand.
In New York, which is the U.S. pandemic, the death toll increased by 777, bringing the total to more than 7 thousand and 800. But state officials said the number of patients in intensive care wards has suffered for the first time since mid-March, and so has the number of those admitted to hospitals.
New York registered 290 new patients in a single day, compared to the daily increase of over 1000 last week.
