The race in which Kosovo aims to win many medals has been postponed again.
It's about the Southern European Senate, which has been delayed for autumn.
Initially, it is scheduled for the European Championship to be held in the first week of May. Because of the coronary pandemic, on March 12 it was decided that Europeans would be organized from 19 June to 21st. But another postponement has been confirmed Monday by the Judo European Federation.
“SEEU has decided to postpone the Judo European Championship for Seniors, to be held in Prague. The new term proposed is from November 8th to November 10, 2020. The date will be confirmed after negotiations with the arena where the” event should be held, the SEE has announced.
All European events have been postponed until the end of July, while it will soon be decided on the events of August.
At the European Championships, Kosovars constantly win medals. Last year, European medals won Majlinda Kelmendi, Nora Gjakova and Loriana Kuka. The European was held within the European Games. This year, besides them, medals are also aimed at the Distria Krasniqi, Akil Gjakova, Laura Fazliu and others.
Meanwhile, the pandemic situation, the 2021 Olympics' postponement, led to this year's World Judo. World championships are not held in Judo during the Olympics. This was not planned by the World for 2020.
