Through a response to its official Twitter account, von Cramon has called on the Government of Kosovo for restrictive measures that decide on the COVID-19 pandemic to return to the Constitutional base, as she says you cannot limit the time when people can get out.
“Movement limit rules should be in accordance with the rules of the Kosovo Constitution. The rules that create more Confusion and that disagree with the Constitution can cause more harm. Other countries have set aside the time you can spend on the outside but not the hour when you can get out. The government must go back to constitutional bases”, the German Eurodeput has written.
This reaction of the German eurodeptee comes after the introduction of new measures imposed by the Government of Kosovo, restricting the movement of citizens at specific hours, according to the previous number of personal identification numbers.
In Kosovo such a move has been described as unconstitutional again, since it is the even greater restriction of people's movement, and it is similar to the preliminary decision that the Constitutional Court declared as unconstitutional.
Regarding this issue at the media conference, incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti has also been asked, however, that it is not part of the Constitution to know whether the decision is unconstitutional.
#lockdown rules need to follow #Constitute rules in #Kosovo. Rules make more contribution & are not possible to follow will cause more harm. Other countries have limited time to write out, but not the hours when one can go out. Gov need to go back to #Constitute basis
