Olympikos is also close to landing in the second Greek category.
The investigation dates to a league match in February 2015, Olympiacos-Atromitos (2-1).
The match was initially investigated, but then the Greek Football Federation decided to close the issue.
Now Greek media “The SDSM” reports in this case that an investigation by a member of the Greek Code of Conduct has concluded there are reasonable doubts against the club and its president.
It even tells up to three games for Olympiacos and one for Panathinaikos, at the time a rival of the club from Piraeus.
Marinakis also owns the English club Nottingham Forest, which is militant to Champship.
