Haxhiu was notified about the works of the Prosecutor during the time the country is facing Pande, Covid-19, and also the actions taken by this institution under these circumstances.
According to what the ministry itself writes, issues that are the priority of the justice minister released from the governing programme were also discussed at the meeting.
Minister Haxhiu particularly stressed the ministry's preparations in drafting the draft law on confiscating unwarranted property as a key tool on the path to fighting organised crime and corruption, whose concept-document is expected very soon to proceed to the Government for approval.
She reiterated that fighting organised crime and corruption is a key factor in economic development and the issue of visa liberalisation.
