Former director of the World Health Organisation in Kosovo Skender Syla has said that the COVID-19 pandemic could last until autumn.
He also said that even if he left during the summer, this virus could return in autumn.
There will be other waves, but we need to focus on the COVID war at this time. A wave can be expected even during the autumn, but there may be circulation of the virus by that time. The states should open gradually and scale”, Syla said on TV Dukagjin.
Syla, who is currently director of the OBS in Bulgaria, said that Kosovo so far has managed well with this pandemic and has thanked the entire health sector, but also citizens who are being very disciplined.
