In an interview for Online Economics, Gerjaliu has said that unlike other countries aimed at eliminating negative effects from Coronavius, Kosovo fights on three fronts, the one with Coronavirus, the economic and social aspect rather than political stability.
Kosovo has entered from crisis to crisis and the effects of this crisis will be enormous, but what distinguishes Kosovo from countries in the region and beyond is the fact that those countries have only one goal and it is to minimize the negative effects from Coronavirus, while Kosovo fights on three fronts”.
The first “Front is Cororanavirus, the second is the economic-Social aspect and the third is not political stability, which in a shape is damaging Kosovo's citizen much more than the fear of Coronavirus”, Gerjaliu has said.
According to him, the negative effects cannot be taken with sterile statements. Even after the pandemic with Coronavirus, Gerjaliu says we will have an economic pandemic.
And if you don't know where you are, you'll find it very difficult to do it.
So I think we need to get rid of the population, we need to get rid of protagonism, we have to have economic access through research, and at that point we need to talk about the consequences of”, he said.
The former chairman of the Ekomonic Oda, says we have more than 200 million declines from the ATK and Kosovo Customs, is the biggest coup it is giving to social and economic stability in Kosovo.
The “in the first place must be realised that a state that has a developed private sector has greater social stability and economic stability. Unfortunately, from a situation like this we've learned how important private sector is and as much as it does for the private sector, it's a guarantee that we will have a better future”.
We need to be concrete in this direction and accept the reality that Kosovo has entered a deep crisis and admit that we have been engulfed by the pandemic on the eve of budget approval. And certainly the very fact that we have more than 200 million declines from the ATK and Kosovo Customs is the biggest handful that is giving social and economic stability in Kosovo”, he has said.
