Analyst from Albania: Kurti does not use the popular “”, people elected voted massively for his expulsion

Political analyst from Albania, Adri Nurellar, has published a text on his Facebook profile, which attacks the use that Vetevendosje is making the term <x0 popular”. In this writing, Mr. Nurellar says this party has no right to do so because Kosovo is the Parliamentary Republic and [...]

In this writing, Mr. Nurellar says that this party has no right to do so because Kosovo is the Parliamentary Republic and its political system is repressive democracy, which means that the right to speak on behalf of the people is the elected MPs.

He says these MPs, elected by the people, voted massively on March 25th to expel Kurt from the post of prime minister with at least 82 votes for, which had never happened in our country, submits Periscope.

“Should be stressed that dismissed Prime Minister Kurti has even less moral rights to speak to the people on behalf of the fact that in the history of Kosovo's democracy, he has broken the record in terms of the number of MPs who have voted to expel him. So it's the last prime minister to leave that has the legitimacy to boast or make decisions because it's the third time that a vote of confidence in Kosovo is successfully voted out, and this against Kurti has received the most.” analyst writes among other things.

Nurellar has ordered Vetevendosje to be more modest, modest, and humble.

Full status:

Although over 2/3 of the parliamentarians voted to bring it down, the dismissed government is continuing to behave presumptuously with the state by making important decisions, dismissing important officials who have replaced them with militants. The outgoing prime minister cannot behave as if nothing had happened, but must understand that he is leading a government in resignation, which can only handle maintenance and ensure normal functioning of institutions until the new government arrives.

It's also shameful that Vetevendosje moves are called on behalf of the people of the plotted polling people as well as with the noise of social networks that are sponsored. The less people can't be seen as the noise caused by balcony vessels, which the more empty the more noise they make. We are in a representative democracy where people exercise their power through representative MPs elected in free and fair elections. So in our system of political will, it is expressed through the vote of Kosovo's Parliament deputies, and no one else has the right to speak in “the people's name”.

Moreover, it must be noted that the dismissed prime minister Kurti has even less moral rights to speak to the people more on behalf of the fact that in the history of Kosovo's democracy, he has broken the record in terms of the number of MPs who have voted to expel him. So it is the last prime minister in the move that has the legitimacy to boast or make decisions because it is the third time that a vote of confidence in Kosovo is successfully voted, and this against Kurti has received the most.

It's 82 votes against formally based on the process-verbal of President Osmani, but in reality there were at least 84 votes (because 117 MPs were present, 32 voted against and 1 abstention was 84. With 2/3 of the deputies' votes, including 2/3 of the minority votes, the Constitution could be changed and the chief governor, no longer the government, could be removed.

In the history of Kosovo's democracy, this is a record of votes provided for the expulsion of a government. Against the self-led government, they have voted not only the former LDK partners, but also former partners of other ethnic communities.

The first motion of vote of confidence has been presented by the New Kosovo Alliance on November 22nd 2010 and is backed by the votes of 66 MPs, while the second was May 10th 2017, in which 78 MPs have voted. The first two post-war legislatures in Kosovo were three years old and ended regularly while we had the case of 2014, when parliament was closed prematurely by voting on self-sharing.

So under such circumstances, the Vetevendosje Movement, and this government, dismissed with the largest number of votes ever given against a government, should show more modesty, humility, self-restraint and respect the heavy and unequivocal verdict of democracy.
