Saban Ibrahimi, the head of the Kosovo Communist Association, has spoken of the meeting that Kosovo mayors have held, which according to him, all co-ordinated for new measures around Covid-19 expected to start Monday.
He in a direct link to “Express Interview” at Kohavision, said incumbent Health Minister Arben Vitita was authorised to talk about the measures taken, but after talks with mayors.
Ibrahimi said that some of the mayors, including those of Serb majority municipalities, were missing at this meeting, but that all were informed of details.
The association represents all. The mayors of Serb majority municipalities were not. But Lutfi Haziri has been authorized that the suggestions were forwarded to them”, he said.
Ibrahimi said that at this meeting between the mayors, they (the mayors) debated and ultimately the AKK recommendation is that the Year be in touch with municipalities to issue a final decision. It was required that the decision be the same for all municipalities.
The leaders recommended that the schedule of the movement be the same for all Kosovo municipalities”, Ibrahim said.
In principle, Abraham said away, they all agree.
But we remember that Pristina chairman Shpend Ahmeti, at a current meeting a few hours ago, said the Pristina municipality would continue to respect the police clock after April 13th.
“Discut focused on movement time. The mayors are committed to prevent the spread of the coronary. The municipalities have agreed to continue with measures for cheap restrictions, but asked to be a unique”, he said away.
According to Ibrahimi, the Fiscal Emergency Package should be implemented as soon as possible. That, according to him, was the request of mayors.
Another problem raised by the mayors, Ibrahim said, is what will happen to crops and those who have greenhouses.
We have applied for the Government of Kosovo to collect these products and then distribute them to municipalities. On the contrary, all of them will no longer be found on the Kosovo market”, Ibrahim said.
According to Ibrahim, several municipalities are facing administrative barriers.
In the next few days, we will also talk to Health Minister”, he said at KTV Express.
Ibrahimi said the mayors were solidified with Malisheva Mayor Ragip Begaj, which is the most affected municipality with Covid-19. This municipality also has the most pressing needs.
After Malisheva, there is Pristina and Vushtrria, who are mostly affected by the coronavirus.
The “all the chiefs who were present expressed readiness to help anyone who expresses need”, he said.
Co-operation with the central level is at the right level, Ibrahimi said away, and added that their instructions would be respected by Kosovo municipalities.
