123 people have died in the past 24 hours, bringing the overall balance to 2,140.
So far, 13,430 people have recovered and 39,703 people have been tested in the last 24 hours.
According to Worldometers' data, Turkey ranks seventh in the world with the number of people affected by coronarys after the US, Spain, Italy, France, Germany and Great Britain.
President Recep Tayip Erdogan said today that a four-day police hour would be introduced to 31 cities since Thursday, as part of efforts to curb the spread of the infection.
Speaking after the cabinet's meeting, Erdogan said Turkey's goal is to bring the epidemic to a level that would normalise life after the Fiter-Bajram holiday in late May, adding that some steps could be taken before that.
