One of the nurses, Manjola Rama, has indicated this is an aid to the Italian state.
“We today are gathered for one aid to the Italian state. We're about 60 nurses, not all employees. I've been substitutes in the QSUT, until we've been waiting for our turn, we decided to help Italy. He called us two weeks ago. We know we're going to have viruses and we're going to give our maximo as our staff, and I think we're going to come out looking really good. I'm a mother of three, they're bored. We haven't had training, but the ones I worked on, I know what it's like, training, we've been told we're gonna train there and then we're gonna start work. They're from all over Albania. We're going to Rome, but the hospital decides. The message is for all to keep distance, hygiene rules, and we'll be on the white page”, the nurse said.
