34 people from the Kamenica municipality have been confirmed affected by COVID-19 so far. The latest cases in this municipality were marked on April 22nd, where 8 people resulted in positive tests for coronavirus.
Kosovo's National Institute of Public Health today has received about 40 samples for testing in the municipality of Kamenica, of persons suspected of having contact with people affected by COVID-19.
About 40 people from eight villages in the Kamenica municipality are waiting to be tested today to see if they are affected by COVID-19 or not.
That's what Kamenica municipality spokeswoman Margarita Rashit said about Express.
We sent a list of people to be tested. About 40 samples were taken today in our municipality, including Polyqka, Topanica, Kamenica, Koretin, Maroca, Hogosht, Berivoca and Hodonocin”, Rashi stressed.
Meanwhile, the total number of people affected with COVID-19 in Kosovo has already gone to 763.
A total of 166 have recovered, and already 21 people have died.
In order to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 disease, which causes Coronavirus, new citizens' circulation measures have entered into force in Kosovo on Wednesday.
Based on measures imposed by the Ministry of Health in office, citizens can leave their homes for only 90 minutes a day, with the aim of supply.
