French authorities have announced that 337,000 companies have fired 3.6 million workers since the start of the corruption.
Labour Minister Muriel Pénicaud said today that financial losses due to COVID-19 amount to 11 billion euros.
The French government has said earlier that all fired workers will receive 70 per cent of the previous salary from the state budget during the pandemic.
At the same time, Minister for Housing Julien Denormandie said the government would provide 15m euros in daily aid to 600,000 homeless people.
For people left on the street, accommodation is offered at the hotel with a capacity of 5,000 beds and 1,300 additional beds in the form of facilities of another type.
