National Institute of Public Health Director Naser Ramadani has once again called on the country's citizens to observe the recommendations and the following weeks so that the COVID-19 cannot pass with minimal consequences.
Ramadan on the RTV complaint office show Dukaagjini said the biggest fight against coronavirus could be fought by citizens rather than in the hospital.
The biggest war is not in the hospital, but in every individual in the Republic of Kosovo. The greatest happiness of this disease is that we can help the population if they listen to us and it's a crucial time to be heard... I'm asking you to stay apart, to keep hygiene, not to get involved because it's the time of crisis 10 days and 2 weeks when the virus is in our midst individually, and we don't know who could have...”, Ramadani said.
The institute's director said that Kosovo is currently in the soft scenario because the cases are individual and there are no group cases of the explosion.
“Keeping the distance so that the virus does not go from person to person and then disappears”, Ramadani said, adding that it is his last appeal before the outbreak of cases unless we adhere to recommendations.
According to him, it has proved that this virus cannot spread more than six feet [2 m] into the air.
“We will overcome the disease, we will not disappear, but we want this pandemic to pass with minimal consequences”, he said.
He made it known that there have been requirements for exits from quarantine and intervence of various kinds, but according to him, if we don't stick to the recommendations and measures of the government then it won't be a good job, it broadcasts Telegrafi.
According to him, it is impossible for each occasion to be followed when dinners do not stop and the recommended distance is not maintained.
Explaining about the COVIED-19 virus, he said the question is that none of the epidemiologists have a clear epidemiology situation with this virus.
The “is a baffling virus. We have learned its characteristics, which distinguish from one place to the next”, he said.
According to him, the experience has taught that the incubation period is 1 to 14 days, but does not mean it is fixed, there are 24 days.
“ence takes most of the cases as conclusion. Most of the cases were presented clinical signs from 5-7 days”, he said.
Ramadani announced that measures against coronavirus in Kosovo have begun to be undertaken on 1 January 2020.
“2 months ago we recommended the 2m distance, self-isolation, personal hygiene”, he said, adding that the virus could not spread more than two meters into the air.
