Kosovo's president, Hashim Thaci, has met with Queen's and EU ambassadors in Pristina today to inform them of the steps he will take following the dismissal of Kurti Government from the Kosovo Assembly last week.
At this meeting were Ambassador of the United States, Ambassador of Great Britain, Germany's Ambassador, France's Ambassador, Italy's Ambassador and Chief of the EU Office in Kosovo.
President Thaci said that “following the government's dismissal from the Kosovo Assembly on March 25th will take steps always in line with the Constitution of Kosovo, with Kosovo laws and with duties as president of the Republic of Kosovo”.

Thaci added that during this week there will be consultations with all parliamentary parties to take their suggestions and advice on which path to go, based on the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Kosovo.
He has said that as president of the Republic of Kosovo, he will decide on the best option to get out of the situation we are in, following the dismissal of the Government of Kosovo.
The head of state has stressed that Kosovo needs a government that will bring stability, greater political and civic unity, which will be comprehensive and clear Euro-Atlantic orientation, the media report said.
