Tahiri in a proposal for Kosova Prees has said that Kosovo as a state should have a unique foreign policy, but also have to have a general consensus on domestic issues, such as economic development, education reform, health and social policy.
Analyst Tahiri has confirmed that Kosovo since the end of the war has failed to become an equal international subject, as still an unresolved dispute with Serbia.
“Hashim Thaci specifically called because it will be talked about dialogue with Serbia, talks about mediating the US its primary role, and will be discussed for this year to be concluded. Because Kosovo from where it declared independence, but also from the country's liberation in 99 is failing to become an equal international subject and this from the fact that we have an unresolved dispute with Serbia. Kosovo has still failed to make the platform for Serbia. These talk to Prime Minister Albin Kurti about genocide for demands, reparations should be produced with a Kosovo document, not a resolution, but Kosovo's document for talks”, he has said.
Tahiri has said that from these meetings it should be released with a joint document adopted by all parliamentary, nonparliamentary and civil society, with which Koova's demands would be unearthed against the International Community for the final agreement with Serbia.
We have had a small document in the 1990s, but a platform for resolving the Albanian issue in Yugoslavia. And she has led us all political parties and with her we have defeated differences. Today, there must be a joint document that all parliamentary and nonparliamentary parties approve of and civil society and which is Kosovo's fundamental document. On this basis Hashim Thaci as president of the country is a unifying figure and is obliged to call all party leaders and show you what the EU and US demands are, where compromise should be made, and Kosovo has a basic document that comes forward to its citizens, but also the International Community with which it makes the agreement with Serbia”, he has said.
Tahiri has also commented on the rejection of President Thaci's invitation on the part of Prime Minister Kurti.
He has said the prime minister is obliged to respond to the president's invitation to achieve political unity.
“Albin Kurti is in two positions, as Kosovo prime minister and as chairman of the Vetevendosje party. If you don't go today, it can go tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, because it's not an urgent issue either today or nothing, but it's up to you to go because politics is unified by meeting, talking and expressing opposition at the meeting. But not by humiliating and not judging. I'm not saying that Albin is prejudging the president but I'm showing the institutional line”, he said.
Tahiri once again has said that the tax on Serbia must be lifted without any conditions, while he has said reciprocity with Serbia is unclear.
“Taxa must be removed, reciprocity is unclear. Reciprocity exists in any agreement made is not general principle and it is good, not bad. If Serbia makes bad politics to return it to him for bad, but only with the agreement it makes with Serbia has reciprocity so far in Brussels. Even Kosovo implements a part of it, not. The tax must be lifted because it has been rejected by all countries, and the interim measure is, but it is also unilateral”, he has said.
President Hashim Thaci during the day has met with political party leaders, but not with Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who did not respond to the invitation, to talk about finding a common language concerning foreign policy.
