Public opinion in Greece has concerns about how migrants who want to enter this state are being dealt with.
Also included in the defence of migrants wanting to enter the country are Albanians.
At the Euronews Albania studio, during the Ilva Now show, was in a direct link to Bledi Vrenzaj, the Albanian who has lived for years in the Hellenic state where he is also struggling to protect the rights of abused immigrants in Greece.
The situation at this moment on the Greek and Turkish border is extremely bad. We discuss gathering today and making a move, a march, blocking roads and having banners in our hands”, Bledi Vrenzaj said.
Vrenzaj adds that the organisation's concern against racism is not only related to the Greek state's response but also to the response of people living on islands where immigrants are trying to land.
Not only at the border, but the very citizens on these islands are misbehaved with immigrants coming from the Turkish border. Some of them are not allowed to go down from the canyon, left for hours at sea. Most of them are young children and women. One of them was pregnant”, he relates.
He further says that the anti-racism organisation has at almost every centre of Greece and that it is perceived that there is an increase in racism against refugees coming from Turkey's border, which has become very disturbing.
