A government spokesman said the “protocols were in effect for several days at parliament buildings, but they will now grow.
The cabinet meeting scheduled for today will include only ministers whose role is considered essential to responding to the crisis.
The usual press conference after the meeting will be held in distance with Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, answering internet questions.
